Q. How many students can each high school bring to the National High School Dance Festival at The University of The Arts?
A. 25 students per school. Two Chaperones/Faculty are included in the school registration fee. Any additional chaperones/faculty will be $75.00/person.


Q. Where will the National High School Dance Festival be taking place?
A. All classes are held on the The University of the Arts campus in Philadelphia, PA: Terra Hall, Arts Bank, The Drake Dance Theater, 309 Studios, Hamilton Hall, Gershman Hall (Gershman Y). The performances will take place in the Merriam Theater and Arts Bank.

Q. What hotels are available during the week of the festival?
A. Please click for the hotel chart for hotel information. Be sure to make your reservations by referencing the National High School Dance Festival at The University of the Arts. In order to receive the special festival rate reservations must be made by February 13, 2008.


Q. Will buses be provided to transfer students to and from hotels?
A. Buses will not be shuttling students, faculty, or chaperones to and from hotels. For information regarding public transportation, please visit www.septa.org. Or plan your commute.


Q. What are local eateries and attractions in Philadelphia?
A. There are many great places to eat and many historical sites to see in Philadelphia. Please visit www.gophila.com for more information.


Q. Where will Student Registration be taking place?
A. Student registration will take place in Hamilton Hall on The University of the Arts campus.


Q. When and where will the scholarship auditions be taking place?
A. Scholarship auditions will be taking place on Thursday March 14, 2008 at the Gershman Y in the Levitt Auditorium at on campus at The University of the Arts.
