Name of Scholarship: Six Week School Tuition Scholarship
Program dates: June 5 – July 20
Scholarship Amount: 4 – 6 scholarships; ranging from $200 – $1,925 (full tuition)
Criteria: Tuition scholarships are offered to promising six week school students who are 16 or older and have a high level of technical ability and creative potential and who have experience in either performing or choreographing. The awards are based on both ability and financial need.
Scholarship covers: $200 – $1,925 (depending on amount awarded)
Still responsible for: Room, board, living expenses and travel (and will depend on amount awarded)
Curriculum: Modern, composition, improvisation, ballet, digital media, voice/ gesture, repertory/archives projects, Pilates, professional auditions, performance opportunities, West African, yoga, and weekly master classes.

Any dancer accepting our offer is exempted from paying normal tuition rates for “out-of-state” students but would be required to complete tuition costs as if he or she were an “in-state” (resident) student (saving close to $5000 per semester). In addition, we offer $1,500 per academic year ($750 per semester) to help cover the remainder of the tuition costs.
Still responsible for: Based on UWM’s current tuition rate, we estimate that each awardee would still need to pay approximately $5,457.40 per year, in addition to travel, housing/meals (see UWM website for variable dorm/meal packages-uwm.edu), segregated and course fees as required, differential tuition fees ($20 per credit for most Peck School of the Arts courses) and class materials (books, shoes, etc).
