General Regulations
for
Commercial Exhibitors, College Recruiters & Summer Program Recruiters


Booth Rental
All exhibit spaces are $300.00. Space will be allocated on a first come, first-paid basis.

Recruiters
All recruiters are required to pay the $300.00 fee. This allows access to the specified audition classes and all Festival events (except dance classes). This fee will cover up to two recruiters. Each additional recruiter will be charged a fee of $75.00.
Note: If you wish to attend and not have a booth, the fee is $200.00 and covers one or two recruiters. Only recruiters offering scholarships will have access to the Student Profile Booklet

Exhibitor and Recruiter Contract
Complete and return the enclosed exhibitor contract with full payment by January 15, 2010.

Assignment of Space
All exhibit space is sold on a first come-first paid basis. Festival staff will accommodate location preferences on a space available basis. Decisions made by the Festival staff regarding booth location will be final.

Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing and received by the Festival Commercial Coordinator no later that February 19, 2010.

Exhibit Schedule
Thursday, March 18 Set up anytime after 9:00am
Friday, March 19 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday, March 20 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Exhibits may be taken down Saturday after 4:30 pm or on Sunday morning.

Booth Size, Equipment, and Services
Each exhibit space is approximately 4 feet wide and 6 feet deep. A table is provided with two chairs. Electrical service (110 volt) is available Š Please indicate on your exhibit contract if you require electricity. Signs are not provided.

Liability and Insurance
The New World School of the Arts will provide 24-hour security to the festival and exhibit area. However, the exhibitor is solely responsible for his/her materials and property. Valuables should be personally stored overnight There will be a locked location for vendors to store their goods in the evenings for the duration of the festival.

Security
The 2010 National High School Dance Festival, New World School of the Arts, Miami Dance Futures and Artists Exchange International or their representatives will not be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur to the exhibitor. Exhibitors wishing to insure their goods must do so at their own expense. The New World School of the Arts will provide 24-hour security to the Festival and exhibit area. However, the exhibitor is solely responsible for his/her materials and property. Valuables should be personally stored overnight in the location designated by New World School of the Arts.

Miami Dance Futures, Inc. (MDF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support and growth of dance in Florida. MDF encourages, promotes and assists young Florida artists by providing administrative, financial and technical support, commissioning new artistic works, advocating, sponsoring educational conferences and developing new projects through cooperative ventures and innovative management.

Festival Participant List
Each exhibitor and recruiter will receive a list of the Festival Participants with their school contact information.

Recruitment Policy
In accordance with the philosophy of the NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DANCE FESTIVAL, we ask that all recruiters observe the following guidelines:
  1. Only official representatives from each college/university and/or summer scholarships may be present at the Auditions. No high school teachers, chaperones, parents, or students are permitted to view the Auditions.
  2. No individual on-site auditions are permitted during the Festival. Recruiters may distribute information about their schools and dance programs ONLY in the Exhibition area.
  3. Meetings with individual students should be scheduled in this area. Individual students may be interviewed ONLY in the presence of, and with the permission of, the studentÕs Supervising teacher.
  4. Recruiters may not offer students gifts or favors.
  5. Recruiters may observe Festival classes only if space permits.
