OPENING CEREMONIES
Exciting news! Complexions Contemporary Ballet will be our professional dance company for the Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, March 2 at the Byham Theater. During the festival, students will also have the opportunity to dance in one of four master classes being conducted by members of Complexions. The class selection schedule will be available shortly.

COVID POLICY
Participants of the festival are not mandated to be vaccinated, although it is recommended. Participants are also not mandated to wear masks, although this too, is recommended. For additional information, please click on the links below:

Remember: all festival participants will need to wear the provided lanyard/badge to gain access to all festival locations, including all Theaters. ​

Please be aware that we are still accepting Scholarship Donations. (There seems to have been a small glitch in some recruiters being able to complete our required form.) This form will allow your organization to include scholarship information for the auditions. It is not necessary to name the exact dollar amount, if that is your choice. As you know, students selected to audition will be among the most outstanding high school dancers in the country.
Scholarship audition classes will be held on Thursday, March 2 in the George Rowland White Performance Center. The exact schedule will be sent to you at a later date.
This will be such a wonderful event! If you haven't already done so, please send in your scholarship commitments ASAP. We will add them to the lists already published on our wesbite.

Students: All Student Scholarship Applications must be received by February 6, 2023. All listed students must be registered attendees for the Festival.

All 2023 NHSDF adjudication is complete. We are so excited about all the pieces that have been accepted for performance! If you were accepted, Kathryn will contact and confirm which concert you will be performing in very early in the new year. Congratulations to everyone who submitted pieces! Happy Holidays to all.

High School Colleagues and Students:
Please make note that the Adjudication Deadline (to receive your submissions for performance) is this coming Thursday, December 8, by the end of the day. You can enter up to five total submissions for adjudication by utilizing the following form. Adjudication Submission Form.

Point Park University is thrilled to host the National High School Dance Festival, March 1-5, 2023. The festival welcomes high school dancers from around the U.S. and abroad to participate in more than 200 master classes, performances, scholarship auditions, a recruitment fair with over 100 colleges/universities, and more!
The festival is open ONLY to students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 at their high school.
